Sally Keeble MP is re-selected

We are pleased to tell you that Sally Keeble MP has been re-selected to to stand as The Labour Party candidate for Northampton North constituency at the next general election. Since first becoming our Member of Parliament in 1997 she has proved herself to be a commited and hardworking MP, dedicated to making sure that northampton North and all its people, many thousands of whom she has personally met and helped, continue to reap the rewards of having a Labour government. We are convinced that she will continue to be an outstanding Member of Parliament and advocate for the town in the years to come.

New hospital for the town
A brand new state of the art psychiatric hospital is to be built on the site of the old Pendred and Princess Marina hospitals. This £35 million developement is just another proof, if one were needed, of Labours total commitment to the NHS.
More help for children
Northamptonshire is to benefit from another huge increase in funding to extend and improve the Sure Start programme that has allready helped many local families with young children. This extremely important and popular resource was opposed by the Conservatives when the Labour government first introduced it.
